SDTR was the lucky recipient of two generous organizations, the Cape Henlopen Elks and the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club.  On Monday, November 25th, both groups came to take pictures and present checks.

The Cape Henlopen Elks, representatives Ralph Patterson and Bob Trafton presented SDTR with a check for $1,000 in October.

The GFWC Zwaanendael President Terry Yates presented SDTR with a check for $500 and visited with four legged therapist, Willy Wonka.

Funds from these donations will be used to support SDTR's daily operating costs, and help provide scholarships for riders who may need them.  SDTR relies on the generosity of donors  to help us to continue our mission, of helping to improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of children and adults living with disabilities.  SDTR has been operating in Sussex County for over 30 years, and still going strong.
